Pretty ho-hum week this time around. Only a handful of comics on my menu.
Avengers Prime #1
Brian Michael Bendis and Alan Davis
Avengers: The Origin 3
Joe Casey and Phil Noto
Franken-Castle #17
Rick Remender and Roland Boschi
Hawkeye & Mockingbird #1
Jim McCann and David Lopez
Heralds #1
Kathryn Immonen and Tonci Zonjic
Invincible #72
Robert Kirkman and Ryan Ottley
Irredeemable #14
Mark Waid and Diego Barreto
Joker’s Asylum II: The Riddler
Peter Calloway and Andres Guinaldo
Superman/Batman Annual #4
Paul Levitz and Renato Guedes
Well, that wasn’t all that much. To make up for that, here’s Kane being awesome.
Franken-Castle was a bore this week, other than the bit at the beginning between Jig-Saw’s kid and Frank, this issue had none of the magic of the previous arc. I hope this doesn’t become a regular thing.
The Superman/Batman Annual was pretty rad this week though, great arc and a decent story even though some of the dialog was dated to the point of being distracted. I think Terry said the word buggy twice within the frame of like 10 pages.

by Nathan June 6th, 2010 at 23:56 --replySo did Batman Beyond go on to blow Superman or what? That should have been your panel.

by Gavok June 7th, 2010 at 09:24 --replyWow. Kane has cut some damn decent promos in his career, but THAT was pure amazing. He might not be able to go so well in the ring anymore, but that promo easily tacked-on another couple years in my book.
