Welcome to This Week– ah, screw this. I’m getting my random YouTube clip out of the way. Look at this shit.

What the hell, 80’s? What the hell?

Yeah, so I got David, Was Taters and Space Jawa on board. If ThWiP is about whittling down a comic to one panel, I think we’ve done gangbusters with Supergirl #2.

Wonder Woman #2 (David’s pick)
Brian Azzarello and Cliff Chiang

I didn’t skip on Wonder Woman. I just couldn’t come up with anything. Still a great series and you should check it out.

Sadly, this is the penultimate issue of Darkwing Duck due to Boom losing the rights to the Disney characters. I will say that the cliffhanger involves Huey transforming into Satan, so that’s one hell of a way to end the line.

Now have some more of this terrible Nightmare on Elm Street album.

  1. I need my Captain Atom encased in metal. This series is interesting but this is an entirely different character (and not just because of the lack of metal).

  2. Damn, Superman is jobbing like the Brooklyn Brawler in that Supergirl book. But he also got over Batman AND GL in the JL comic, so it doesn’t really mess up his heat.

I’ve been watching too much pro wrestling again, haven’t I?

  3. How did I not know Darkwing Duck was ending? This puts a serious crimp in my good day, but at least I won’t go in every week wondering where the hell it went.

My only real comment on this week: “Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with you?” is a sentiment that should be uttered or visually conveyed at least twice in every Deadpool book ever made. Forever.

  4. Ugggggggh Darkwing’s ending? Dammit, I thought that might happen but never had any confirmation on it.
