Turtles in Rhyme

So some of you might be wondering about the Wrestlemania Countdown and how I never got around to posting the top 3. I really wanted to get that done in time, but 11 straight days of writing plus coming down with a cold led to some nasty fatigue and I lost my writing momentum. I’ll get to it, but sometime in the next few days, albeit when nobody cares because Wrestlemania 26 already happened.

In other news, I stumbled across this the other day. It’s a well-known fact that the videogame Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time has one of the all-time greatest soundtracks. A guy by the name of MasDaMind decided to merge the tracks from that game with other pieces of music to create Teenage Mashup Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles In Time Tribute.

Some work better than others, but I personally dig “Got Yourself Sewer Surfin'”.

  1. I still care about the Wrestlemania Countdown! I even made a graph, but it needs the last three to be complete.

    I don’t suppose we could get a little Wrestlemania 26 review in the last update as well, hmm?

  2. I thought I cared about the Wrestlemania Countdown but I didn’t make a graph so now I am filled with self doubt…

    I waited the better part of 13 years for Bret Hart to make his way back to a WWE ring- a few extra days for your column is no problem at all.

    On topic saying the song titles like the narrator from Turtles in Time is awesome. “Big Booty… 3 A.M.”

  7. @Darin: Ha. Yeah I can post it when it’s done, but it’s just a line graph that shows each Wrestlemania # vs. rank that only took like 5 minutes to make. I just wanted to see it looked like and what the slope was like.

    I guess if I thought of some other data points I could add them but I really can’t think of anything else to add.
