This Week in Panels: Week 247
June 16th, 2014 by Gavok | Tags: avengers, deadpool, hulk, invaders, panelsHello, party people. It’s time for ThWiP starring myself, Matlock, Gaijin Dan, Space Jawa and AnarChris. Yes, a new person for once. Crazy.
The true highlight of this week is New Avengers, which is awesome mostly because of Namor. The dude absolutely owns every single panel he’s in, so it makes sense that he gets the spotlight in both choices this week.
She-Hulk and WWE Superstars both nosedive when it comes to the art this week. The stuff in She-Hulk is especially disappointing and the panel I chose is one of the better looking moments. Seriously, there’s a part where Tigra is talking about how sexy she looks while actually appearing as Lion-O in drag after a bender. It’s just not my bag.

Aw, if only that Mighty Avengers panel wasn’t there. Injustice and Naruto work perfectly together.
Enough about comics. Let’s talk about burgers. The other day Was Taters showed me this series of videos about three Japanese guys going to LA and deciding to visit 10 different burger chains in the area with one guy having to eat a burger each time via roulette. It’s pretty amazing and Falcon is a true hero.
Aside from being disappointed that I somehow didn’t see She-Hulk in stores this week, I’m a bit confused that I have a panel from All-New Invaders when I never actually bought or read that comic this week.
