This Week in Panels: Week 156
September 17th, 2012 by Gavok | Tags: Batman, loki, panels, x-forceWelp. As I said a few days ago, ThWiP was delayed due to me being out of town. Luckily, Was Taters, Jody, Gaijin Dan and Space Jawa already had their panel stuff waiting for me. What a great bunch of guys… and girl.

And so ends the third year of This Week in Panels. Can’t believe it’s lasted that long. Stay tuned tomorrow for This Year in Panels: Year 3.
Also, I’ll have a trip report for King of Trios weekend in a day or so. God, what a fun time that was.
. . . and we are looking at Old Man Yamamoto’s right eye because . . . ?
Sorry if that came off as sarcasm . . . I’d like context, though it can’t be the horror of Scarlet Spider-Ham.
by Jason September 18th, 2012 at 14:10 --reply@Jason: It’s part of the lead-up to him completely no-selling a big attack, basically.
by david brothers September 18th, 2012 at 14:21 --replyWow, a good panel from AvX, and I mean, really, wow, even if it’s a totally ingrown wow. Cyclops Experiences Female Orgasm.
by Don Druid September 18th, 2012 at 18:16 --reply@Jason: Last week’s Bleach was kind of bad for picking a single panel. It was just about 100% stuff that works in context but doesn’t make much sense on its own. I was also considering a panel from the flashback that made up most of the chapter, but I was afraid people wouldn’t realize it was a young(er) Yamamoto.
by Gaijin D September 18th, 2012 at 20:31 --replyI really like that Barrage panel. That he’s weighing the voice balloons that represent his choices against each other. Maybe that’s an obvious way to show “weighing your options”, but it works really well.
