This Week in Panels: Week 201
July 29th, 2013 by Gavok | Tags: beta ray bill, galactus, injustice, panels, scarlet spiderYou said it, Spidey. But Sunday is Sunday, so let’s get to it.
My crew this week includes Gaijin Dan, Matlock and Space Jawa. I don’t have anything else to really add to this white noise of an intro, so here. The theme to Pacific Rim. Listen to it as you skim the rest… or as you hit a monster in the face with a battleship. Either way.
With that out of the way, panels away!

LOVE that Injustice issue. Superman is such an amazing dick, though it isn’t like Batman wasn’t asking for it. I had to post that What If panel because Jesus Christ, what is up with Domino’s characterization there?
I promise that I’m going to do an article or two over the week that WON’T be panel based. Hell, I have one lined up that isn’t even about comics. Nor wrestling. Nor video games. It’s about this.
I mean, why should David be the only guy here to write about rappers?
Anyone else vaguely creeped out by Tien’s dying words? What, were him and Chaotzu the Pete White & Billy Quizboy of the DBZ universe?
by Jason July 29th, 2013 at 11:19 --replyAssuming that panel is Galactus meeting Gah Lak Tus, I’m guessing the next one quoted heavily from the book of Ultimate Job, right?
by Drakyn July 29th, 2013 at 12:46 --replyAlso, who’s the hoopy old frood with the sharks and is he about to beat up Aquaman? Will this make us care about Aquaman? Maybe if Aquaman tries really hard to look badass this time and turns to the camera and says “AQUAMAN IS BADASS” real loud?
Drakyn: The old man is the King of Atlantis, who is fighting Aquaman for…um…reasons.
by Stanley July 29th, 2013 at 15:04 --replyThat World Trigger panel is totally what I’d have gone for as well, if only because exploded Yuma hair is basically just… my normal hair grown out.
