Sorry, I had to.
Considering there’s a lot of post-deadline overflow and people peeved that certain characters weren’t represented, I figure I’ll bring this back in a couple months when ThWiP hits its four year anniversary. Until then, keep rocking.
Seriously, though. Thanks to all of you who sent panels, especially to the Something Awful forum. I was glad to see so many people get in on this.
I wasn’t so much peeved about Kyle Rayner’s absence as . . . okay, maybe “peeved” is the best word. Better than “pissed off,” anyway. And I apologize for sending a panel past the deadline. I didn’t give myself enough time to panel hunt. If I have to wait 50 weeks for the next anniversary, I’ll be cool with that.
One suggestion: how about searching for material that boil down writers and/or artists to one panel?
by Jason July 26th, 2013 at 21:53 --reply@Jason: Actually, it’s only 7 weeks, so no worries.
And that writers/artists idea definitely has potential.
by Gavok July 26th, 2013 at 21:57 --replyI just wanna say, excellent choice on that Xorn panel.
by LtKenFrankenstein July 26th, 2013 at 22:19 --replySOMEbody loves Mark Gruenwald’s run on “Captain America”, with the Red Skull in that old fallout shelter. That’s where I started to appreciate Cap too.
by Chunky Style July 26th, 2013 at 23:44 --replyAhh shucks, I should’ve submitted a Superman panel. There are a bunch of Golden Age ones that sum up what the character is to me: a defender of the poor against financial criminals.
by Dorey Mifaso July 28th, 2013 at 16:25 --replyGlad to see some love for Ultra Magnus and Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye. It’s the only comic I’m regularly reading and it’s really, really good.
by Greg July 29th, 2013 at 07:26 --replyLOL you just had to buzz David there Gav? Great job choosing by everyone..
by Daryll B. July 30th, 2013 at 02:01 --replyYeah, that Vision panel is completely wrong, so wrong it must’ve been John Byrne who submitted it.
by Martin Wisse July 30th, 2013 at 08:22 --reply
