It’s a great story, with fantastic art, and I’ve loved it ever since I first read it (which was as an adult). I like it so much that Boom! Studios’ rerelease of the series in a couple hardcovers has been tempting me
It’s the story of how Scrooge McDuck went from pauper to super rich fat cat. There are tons of real-life guest stars, all done up ducks-style, and it’s just a rocking good story. Boom! posted a few pages of the book on their press site and said that we can post them around. So, y’know, enjoy. I have fantastic taste, and believe me when I say that this is a classic book.

I snagged the first one when it came out. Well worth it, though I’ve had to move getting the second one back on my list sadly…
Had to read the first volume for school, loved it so much I actually shelled out full price for volume 2 at WonderCon.
Fun and interesting story. Also like how Scrooge isn’t a completely clear cut evil rich guy but more of a well rounded guy.

My copy of the Gemstone edition had shitty binding and fell apart after a few months, and I only read it once. Kind of annoying, that.
It IS a fantastic story, though. Appropriately epic.
