Reboots. I was a huge fan of the Legion of Super Heroes from like 82 to 1997 or so. The 1994 reboot cost them a lot of good will and after that I lingered for a while and finally dropped it. For me at the time it was a big deal. But now, I just don’t care, I don’t. there’ve been a few reboots since then and I’ve given some a look but nothing more.
So there, losing momentum.
For monthlies in general it was first moving to a town with no easily accessible comic shop, then overseas, and discovering that Overstock.com and Amazon had TPBs for 30% off. Better product, and cheaper, and I can’t get monthlies. That was the end for me.
This is my favorite one of the bunch David. Great eye.
