5years of 4thletter!
March 24th, 2010 by david brothers | Tags: 4thletter is..., blogosphereMarch 25th, 2005: I started doing 4thletter! with a Blogger backend. Months later, after getting bored with Blogger, I relaunched with WordPress in a form very close to what 4thletter! is now.
I’m not sure what I’m going to do specifically for the anniversary, but I do have a couple things I’m gonna post today. Most importantly, though, I want to say thanks to Gavin, Esther, Thomas, and Paul for writing. Thanks to you all for reading.
Some of the best writing out there. Thanks.

by Jason Thibault March 24th, 2010 at 11:32 --replyHappy anniversary! There are blogs where everybody’s friendly, there are blogs where everybody’s fighting like three year-olds all the time, but this is the only blog I know where no matter how hot tempers get, they never break down the adult level-headedness. Even leaving out the insightful writing and the pointing-me-to-cool-comics aspects — which are awesome, of course! — 4l! would deserve a big-ass salute for that alone.
Nice little corner of the Internet you’ve made here!
