Ultimatum Edit Week 3: Day Two

March 22nd, 2009 by | Tags: , , , , , , , , ,

And we move forward. Yesterday saw Magneto sit back and listen to the Scarlet Witch. But how can that be if Wanda is dead? But what of the Multiple Man hiding out behind his throne? Today’s update has both of those answers.

Thanks to ManiacClown, who tried to have me change Magneto’s rant into a different topic. No dice, my friend.

Tomorrow we’ll see Giant Man vs. the Blob. It’s really stupid.

Day Three!
Day Four!
Day Five!
Day Six!
Day Seven!

  1. Nice song use there for page 6…

  2. Oh, those rascally Marvel editors…the way that panel of Xavier’s death is cut for the recap page, it looks like he didn’t die from a broken neck but just collapsed in awe of Magneto’s crotch-thrusting powers.

The pool of blood, it does not help.

  3. In fact, now that I think of it, ALL those recap panels are funnier when cut out of context.

“HOW DARE SPIDER SUGGEST HULK IS STEPPING ON HIS FOOT!”

“Tony, look away from the shield. No, there is not a man inside – Tony? Tony, look over here…Miniscule woman talking!”

“Ah, Grifter doll, our playing together has made me all covered in various fluids. If only this could happen with the real Grifter…”

“9, 3, 6, 30! Coming, ready or – Sue? Sue, if you want to play, you have to go by the RULES.”

“OH THE PAIN THE AGONY THOR HELP ME MY SPINE MY POOR LITTLE SPIIIIIIINE…”

  4. Haha, awesome.

  5. That Magneto face there on the second page(and thumbnail) is really damn ugly.

  6. I laughed at the “Matrix” part the most. 🙂

  7. Page 6 awesomeness!

  8. By the way, I submitted this entry to comicsblip. Hopefully I didn’t overstep, I just wanted more people to see it. By the way, the site is…

  9. Thanks, I appreciate that.

  10. What were you referring to with the jeph loeb/peter david she-hulk fight?

  11. @Matchbox: Recently Peter David was saying that he lays a lot of blame onto Jeph Loeb for the cancellation of She-Hulk because of the way Loeb was writing her in his Hulk series. Since Hulk is more high-profile, David figures that people were turned off by the way She-Hulk was used and figured that that’s how she is in David’s series.
