Art Imitating Life
March 27th, 2010 by david brothers | Tags: dinosaur comics, WebcomicsYesterday’s Dinosaur Comics is pretty much how every podcast pre-recording session goes between me and Esther:
In this situation, I am T-Rex and she is Utahraptor.
True story.
But Spider-Man can beat Batman, so it all evens out.
by AlLoggins March 27th, 2010 at 14:52 --replyI haven’t cut my nails in a week and my mother is from Utah. It can’t be a coincidence!
PS: Your tiny little arms look stupid.
by Esther Inglis-Arkell March 27th, 2010 at 15:48 --replyWow, I totally agree with Esther. That’s a first.
by Pedro Tejeda March 27th, 2010 at 18:36 --replyNow I wonder what’s better: BATMAN SKILLS or JAGUAR SKILLS, HOOOOOOO!?
by Steve March 27th, 2010 at 19:26 --replyI never really think about these things but it does occur to me that these things are always phrased as “In a fight.” I expect both participants of a fight to know they’re going to be in a fight.
So yeah, Superman could utterly ahnihilate Batman if he attacked him, which is what Utahraptor is suggesting. In a straight up fight where Batman knows Superman’s coming for him, or he’s going after Superman, he doesn have Kryptonite
by Jason March 27th, 2010 at 19:30 --replyBatman ALWAYS has Kryptonite.
by Rob March 28th, 2010 at 10:48 --reply@AlLoggins: Nuh uh
by Nathan March 28th, 2010 at 14:17 --replyI think I’ve been on both sides of this argument. On the one hand, Batman DOES think of and prepare for everything. On the other, Alfred does make sure he has his nap time.
